Maybe the best digital SLR ever ! I love this camera, my wife allowed me to buy this D200 just before my trip to Romania. The camera exeded all expectations.It took pictures inside Old Orthodox churches,cathedrals,2000 years old ruins along the Black Sea (Histria),Dracula castles,former dictator's palace,etc. The D200 did not let down once. So after buying the camera in Edmonton Canada,the D200 vent to Austria,Romania and Serbia. I will never get rid of this camera, i only wish it was still made in Japan...at least the SB900 is. 14 de julio de 2012
Old faithful I've had this camera since 2007. So 5 years now. Many, many photographs later -- in jungles, sandstorms, torrential rain, snow, and at incredibly high altitudes, it still continues to serve me well. It's been great to own. And I can't say I, even now, feel the need to replace it. (It's one weakness is poor low-light ability, but for a camera shipped in 2005, you can't blame it, or compare it to the newer cameras out there) 4 de febrero de 2012
A serious prosumer DSLR. I got one of the first D200's in Maine and it has been an excellent "workhorse" for me. Quite replete with features and functions. Excellent image quality. Magnesium body has proven its worth (I have fallen on it several times). Low light level limitations on focus speed and not great at high ISO's. 20 de octubre de 2011
Great Camera! I have had the D-200 for over 5 yrs. It has work smoothly and flawlessly. The controls are easy to use once you get used to it. It seems to be standard on Nikon D cameras. The full frame picture is the reason I purchased this camera. This is a keeper!. 17 de septiembre de 2011
Excellent, but small sensor has limitations The camera produces excellent pictures. Noise in dark shadows can be a problem at higher ISO settings. As with film cameras the smaller sensor size can be a bit of an issue with big enlargements. Conservative use of VR and a tripod can minimize this issue. Also the small sensor's 1.5X factor reduces the field, so that one loses the wide angle effect of wide angle lenses. In all other ways, this is a splendid camera. 22 de agosto de 2011
